I was going to draft a post on this topic until I found the above video on the Social Media Revolution at YouTube.com. I think this video and the Socialnomics – Social Media Blog, by Erik Qualman, articulate better than I could the impact that is occurring with social media on our world.

As this powerful video displays the fundamentals of human communication are undergoing a major shift. I encourage others to see what’s going on in Social Media. I recommend a good starting point at Socialnomics – Social Media Blog, where I believe some of the data for the video was pulled.
